About the Artist, Cathy Edwards
I am a self-taught artist and very versatile in my creations. After moving to Florida, I created the "Florida Series" that was inspired by the beautiful wildlife in the state.
I have created vibrant and interesting fun artwork over the last several years, and although I enjoy illustrating people and still life, my true passion is "painting" animal portraits, particularly YOUR pets, using dry colored pencils, pastel pencils or watercolor pencils on surfaces such as Pastelmat, Bristol Board, Drafting Film or Suede.
